Obaid Bin Touq is an Emirati Entrepreneur and listed in Forbes Middle East. He has earned his License in Law and Police Sciences in 2007, Master of Science in Service Leadership and Innovation from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2012.

Obaid appointed as chairman of Drake & Scull PJSC where he assisted in restructuring of entire business, negotiations with banks, resolving thousands of labour problems.

Nigel is a solicitor of England and Wales and he acted as General Counsel for Emerald Palace Group Vice, the developer of Kempinski and Raffles the Palm and as Vice President Legal of the Damac group, he specializes in dispute resolution and arbitration. Combined with his non-contentious commercial experience he has worked on a range of significant (US$ million/billion) international projects since 1990. He has been based in Dubai over 22 years and is a regular contributor to key publications such as Gulf Business, Construction News, Business 24 and the Lloyds Insurance Market.

He is a founding committee member of the UAE branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) registered arbitrator.
